BetGames delighted with the Hybrid Sports League and T-Basket they showed at SBC Barcelona

(Barcelona, Exclusivo SoloAzar).- SBC Summit Barcelona 2022 was the perfect stage for BetGames to show their brand -new basketball sport, T-Basket to industry influencers and decision makers gathered there. The key for attending the events was that they wanted to gather as much feedback as possible. “So, in that instance, presenting the product with us as a provider and our partners as operators really helps us to align with how we’re going to roll out this one-of-a-kind product to players, remarked John Paul Rowland, VP of Europe, Asia and the Americas at BetGames Company.

This 2022 edition of the SBC Summit Barcelona set a new record attendance, with about 6.000 delegates in attendance from all over the world for three days, and high-level conferences content with nearly 400 speakers.


Related to the performance of BetGames at the show, J. Rowland expressed during the interview with SoloAzar:It’s great to see the wider industry share our vision for live-action entertainment beyond T-Basket, and especially how we can evolve that into the likes of football and others. Also, I think a key part for us is the strength localisation brings to the table, you can quite literally have live commentary in every language you want, specific to certain markets. T-Basket, and indeed football, are such a widely enjoyed international pair of sports, that this can really be exported to the world”.


Rowland also highlighted the feedback they received when presenting the Hybrid Sports League and T-Basket: “this is a project and sports format we truly believe in, and we are excited to continue watching it grow, with SBC Barcelona playing an important part in that”.


One of the aims about their participation at this Barça event, was to take the opportunity to expose the T-Basket product, and all the work the firm has been doing; “both BetGames’ support and the Hybrid Sports League itself have been two years in the making, with our team putting in an incredible amount of hard work behind the scenes, so ensuring we had the right platform to do so was vital, and we are delighted with the result, mentioned John Rowland.  


“Future of sports betting” was the conference where BetGames presented as speaker. Rowland, the VP of Europe, Asia and América, told us their experience: “Our CEO and head of the team Andreas Koeberl presented some fantastic insights at the event, in-front of an excellent turnout from the audience. It followed on from our first talk at BoS at Twickenham earlier this year to first present our plan to transform sport for betting markets. One thing that we really noticed is the reception in terms of production value, across the board. Our operator partners are getting really excited about the entertainment factor that comes with T-Basket, and we’ve definitely got something that fits perfectly with the current demand for entertainment”. And he added: “Key to that are the perceptions of the direction we’re taking this project in, with it all being about providing short-from live entertainment that fills gaps within major live events. With tournaments format completed within the hour, this means we have instant, short-form action that can present the perfect complement to each day’s live schedule for mainstream fixtures”.


Although the firm is not yet live at the Spain market, J. Rowland recognize that “We were able to catch up with LatAm, European, and indeed North American partners – enabling us to introduce them to a ground-breaking new product that’s really going to capture the next-gen player’s interest”.


 


When asking him about the near future and the events on their calendar for the rest of the year, he said that they are showcasing their product at the G2E Las Vegas event, and SiGMA as well. He expressed that the team of the company is “really excited to be showcasing such a fantastic basketball product to the world’s biggest market, or in other words, to the NBA. Following that, we’ll be at SiGMA given our already extensive presence in Malta, so it will be excellent to keep building our network there.” He ended adding that “looking beyond to 2023, ICE will be a key fixture for us, as well as SAGSE LATAM 2023 & Sigma Americasin LatAm definitely being on our radar. I’m hugely confident that with such a fantastic dynamic for sport catered to the exact demand the industry is looking for right now, we really have a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience that the world, and in particular, Latin America is no doubt going to love”.
